LBP Optics is a manufacturer of precision industrial and scientific metal mirrors and components. Bought by infrared optics and components manufacturer ULO Optics in 2017, they now operate as part of a larger group offering a full range of laser optics and beam delivery equipment.
The substrates common used are copper, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, silicon, molybdenum.
The available coatings are electroplated hard gold, MaxR high reflectivity for CO2 lasers, protected aluminium for UV-VIS, protected silver.
In August 2019 LBP Optics Ltd bought Stevenage-based diamond machining company Symons Mirror Technology (SMT), offering plus over 70 years of combined diamond machining expertise.
